"Seminar on Nephrology - FOCUZ 15'"
FOCUZ 15’ a seminar on nephrology was organized by the Department of Practice of Medicine of Father Muller Homeopathic Medical College on 9th August 2015.
Dr N C Dhole, Professor, Department of Practice of Medicine was the Organizing Secretary. The programme started with a lecture by Dr Raghavendra Kamath on the “Diagnosing trends and early diagnosis in nephrology”. At 10.30 AM was the inauguration presided over by Rev Fr Vincent Vinod Saldanha, Administrator, FMHMC.
Following the inauguration, Dr Saji K, an eminent Homoeopathic practitioner deliberated on “Homoeopathic approach to nephrological conditions”. This session was followed by lunch.
In the post lunch session, Dr Ramdas spoke on the “Treatment of nephrological cases through Homoeopathy”. By 4.30 the CME programme was concluded by singing the National Anthem.
Over 250 delegates from in and out of Mangalore participated and made this CME a success
CME on "Live Materia Medica"
The Department of Homoeopathic Materia Medica and Therapeutics organized IGNITE-2015, a CME on live Materia Medica on 24.01.15. The resourse person was Dr Janardhan Reddy, Former Principal of JSPS GHMC, Hyderabad
CME on "Palliation in Homoeopathy"
The Department of Organon of Medicine and Homoeopathic Philosophy conducted a one day symposium on "Palliation in Homoeopathy" on 09.11 2014 at FMHMC auditorium. The topic was handled by the Resource Person, Dr K L Babu, Medical Superintendent, Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College, Kozhikode. The symposium was a great success as Dr K L Babu has shared his rich experience in Palliative care at GHMC Kozhikode. It was an interactive session, practice oriented and many of our delegates got benefitted by his valuable guidelines. 340 delegates participated for the symposium. the convener for the programme was Dr roshan Pinto.
