Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College Hospital Out Patient Department has become popular in the new campus at Deralakatte which has been shifted from Kankanady in August 2006.

The New Out Patient Department has facilities for different units and consultation rooms along with screening rooms, Medical Superintendents Room, Clinical Supervisor's room, a dispensing room, a registration cum records room, a students guidance room and patient's waiting hall. It has a Laboratory where we conduct basic Lab investigations like Haematology tests, Biochemistry Tests, Urine tests and Pregnancy tests. It also has an X-ray Unit

Lab tests include

Biochemistry tests - Blood glucose, Serum Cholesterol, HDL, Triglycerides, Lipid profile, Urea, Creatinine, Uric acid, SGOT, SGPT & Total Bilirubin.

Hematology Tests – Hemoglobin, TLC, RBC Count, DC, PCV, MCV, MCH, MCHC, AEC, Platelet, E.S.R, BT, CT

Pathology Tests – Blood grouping & typing, Urine sugar and Protein, Ketone bodies, bile salts and pigments, Urine and Stool microscopic examination

Microbiology Tests – Urine Pregnancy Test, Mantoux Test

In the Homoeopathic Medical College Hospital students are given well-planned clinical training. The Medical Officers and Physicians look after the proper conduct of clinical classes to both the students and interns in O.P.D. and I.P.D.

The Outpatient and In-patient departments are organized in such a manner that the needs of Homoeopathic Medical P.G. education could be satisfactorily met from the case materials available in Hospital. Care is taken to document every case and demonstrate the cases to the students and interns. All the elements of Homoeopathic Medical Training - case taking, case analysis, case synthesis, case exposition and follow ups with remedy response are given due emphasis.

OPD Out patient services are also held at Father Muller Homoeopathic OPD, Kankanady, St. Antony's Hospital, Jeppu, Prashanth Nivas Jeppu over 17 community Health centres in and around the city.

There is also a facility for treatment through correspondence and many patients from all over India and abroad are benefiting through this facility.
