INDEPENDENCE DAY 2008

Independence Day was celebrated at Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Deralakatte, by hoisting the National Flag by Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash D'Souza, the Administrator of the College. .

Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash D'Souza conveyed the students a beautiful message of the day and explained the students of the present situation of our country, the way of misusing the freedom that we got from our ancestors, by destruction of public property.  He stressed the students that it is our responsibility to protect our country from the adverse happenings of the present day.  This can be done primarily in our college campus by maintaining cleanliness at the surrounding of our college and at the hostelsDr S.K. Tiwari, Principal of the college delivered Vote of Thanks and also advised the students to start following the message given by the Administrator from today itself.

Dr Blany Lobo, Cultural Secretary has organized a class wise competition of Patriotic Songs after the flag hoisting ceremoney and the prizes were distributed to the winners by the Administrator.

Dr Srinath Rao, Vice Principal, Sr Gertrude, Warden, Ladies Hostel, Mr G. Ramanna, Warden Gents Hostel and some of the staff members were also present for the celebrations.
