The festival of lights was celebrated enthusiastically by the students, teachers and the management of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College.
The programme commenced with welcoming of the Administrator, Principal and Vice Principal by the MC of the programme Ms Sharon D’ Souza. Prayer song as a regular convention to begin any programme here at Mullers was performed by a team of students. Following this there was lighting of the lamp by Administrator, Principal, Vice Principal, President of Student Council and the Secretary of Cultural Committee. Administrator Rev Fr Vincent Vinod Saldanha gave his message on the day and advised the students to spread the light of success and glory to the corners of this world to remove the darkness of ignorance and inability.
Later towards the end of the programme, medals and certificates were handed over to the winners of Rubicon 2013 and the athletes of the college team who participated in the Rajiv Gandhi University Athletic Meet, Dharwad.
Thus programme was concluded with distribution of sweets to the gathering.
