The release of Pioneer 2013 was held on 31/10/2013 at the college auditorium, FMHMC. This is the first time at Father Mullers, the student council has ventured into the task of editing, designing, printing & producing a magazine. The function commenced with a prayer song sung by a team of students. Dr P Chakraborty, Editor and Coordinator of Magazine committee escorted the dignitaries on to the dais. Principal, Dr Shivaprasad welcomed the gathering.
Dr P Chakraborty gave an introduction of the Chief Guest. Prof Dr Rajendra Prasad, the Chief Guest of the function, is the Principal & Dean of A.B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, a famous maxillofacial surgeon, released the glossy magazine along with the other dignitaries on the stage.
Administrator, Rev Fr Vincent Vinod Saldanha appreciated the effort of the editor and the editorial board both staff and students. Director, FMCI, Rev Fr Patrick Rodrigues presided over the function and delivered his speech. The Chief Guest and the President were greeted with a bouquet as a token of love and appreciation
Prizes were distributed to the winners of the contests like Face Painting, Hair Styling and Cover design held in connection to this magazine. Also the prizes for the sports competitions were given away by the dignitaries. To conclude Ms Sushmitha Magazine secretary proposed the vote of thanks. Ms Naval Iqbal was the MC.
