
2013 marks the inaugural year for the house wise competitions of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College.

Four houses were randomly selected on the basis of lottery method and the final year students were made captains of the houses. The houses comprised the teaching and nonteaching members also.
The events were organized and conducted in the following categories, Indoor, Outdoor, Athletics, Staff athletics and fun games august 13th onwards. Students and staff participated with much enthusiasm without disturbing the curriculum. Matches were organized after the college hours and the ground activities like cricket and football were conducted at weekends. A 5 km marathon for boys and 2 km for the girls was organized and a maximum of 50 students representing their houses participated. The theme of marathon was ‘GO GREEN’.


The finals of the various sports events were conducted on 26th of October in the morning at 9:30 am. The athletic meet commenced with the help of our new physical director Mr Chennakeshava and his associates. The first event was a fun game BOMB IN THE CITY which was followed by the athletic events. At 11:30 am the Inauguration of the meet was done by the Chief Guest Rev Fr Peter Noronha, founder director of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and the administrator Rev Fr Vincent Vinod Saldanha.



Programme started as MC Ms Sunera Fathima introduced the dignitaries on their arrival. Parade of the athletes was an eye catching event, which was followed by the release of the balloons and hoisting of the institutional flag. Welcome note was rendered by Principal Dr Shivaprasad K, followed by athletic torch relay.


Mr safeer the best athlete male of the year 2012 took the oath of the athlete on behalf of all the athletes present. The formal inaugural programme came to an end as the sports secretery Mr Sai Kumar gave away the vote of thanks. Administrator Rev Fr Vincent Vinod Saldanha gave his concluding message and declared team Mighty Emeralds to be the overall champions of the Rubicon 13 and Blue Ninjas in the second position.
