The NSS unit of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College held a blood grouping and blood typing campaign for the inmates of St Antony Ashram, Jeppu on 07.10.13. The programme was coordinated by Dr Ranjan Britto, NSS Coordinator, FMHMC and Dr Shara Ram, Medical Officer, St Antony Charity Institute. 42 volunteers participated in the drive. Beneficiaries were 258.
The purpose of this campaign was to reach out to blood donors in case of emergencies who require transfusions instantly, skipping the blood typing and grouping procedure at crucial times. The programme took place between 9.00 AM and 1.15 PM.
