Onam was celebrated at Father Muller Homoeopathic medical college on 15/09/2013 which was organized by the students’ council of FMHMC. The celebration began at 11.30 am in the college auditorium with a prayer song. Dr.Bayula babu, PG student welcomed the gathering. Dr Shivaprasad, Principal and Dr Prabhu Kiran, Vice Principal conveyed wishes and delivered their messages.
Later a group of students performed “THIRUVATHIRA”, a unique art form of dance indigenous of Kerala, performed during Onam fest.
A group of boys presented a skit of “Mundu”, the traditional men’s wear in Kerala. The skit was appreciated by all and was very humorous. Later the Administrator, Rev Fr Vincent Vinod Saldahna gave his message and greeted all on the occasion of Onam.
Few fun games were conducted by the Pg students for everyone to entertain the gathering followed by prize distribution to the winners. The programme ended with Vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Mohd.Salih.
