INAUGURATION OF THE NEW AUDIOLOGY LAB
The new audiology lab was blessed on 22/12/2014 in the department of speech and hearing, Father Muller Medical College Hospital. Rev. Fr Richard Coelho, Administrator, FMMCH performed the holy blessing of the GSI audiometer and the audiology lab. The occasion was graced with presence of Rev. Fr Patrick Rodrigues, Director, FMCI; Rev. Fr Rudolph Ravi D’sa, Administrator, FMMC; Dr B. Sanjeev Rai, Chief of Medical Services, Dr Udaykumar, Medical Superintend, Dr George Pinto, HOD,ENT department.
The new audiology lab is fully equipped with the state of the art facilities for the diagnosis of hearing disorders in paediatric, adulthood and geriatric population. The lab constructed according to the standardization which will help to obtain reliable and valid results. The principal Prof. Akhilesh P.M. gave details about the various tests that can be performed in the new lab.
The services in the lab will be offered from today for the public.
