Paediatric Surgery is functioning as a part of department of surgery till date. It is recognized and has progressed rapidly since the medical college started in 1999. It is headed by a Senior Paeditric Surgeon since 2001. All types of children and Neonatal surgeries are performed with excellent results. It is supported by the good & competent Anesthesia Department and well –equipped NICU & PICU. Besides providing good patient care, it imparts academic knowledge in Paeditric Surgery to the under graduates and post-gradates medical students of Paeditric through theory classes and seminars.
