A Management Development Programme by the department of business administration, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, Mangalore was organized to the Faculty members of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital on Friday, the 6th July 2012 from 9.00 a.m to 4. p.m.
The programme began with a prayer song. Dr Srinath Rao, Principal, FMHMC welcomed the resource persons. Assistant Administrator, FR Vincent Saldahna offered a bouquet as a token of respect to the resource persons. Prof. Umesh Bhushi, Principal, Sahyadri college of engineering & management, mangalore inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.
 
 
Dr. AnanthapadhmanaAchar, Director of MBA Programme gave a brief introduction about management development programme on personality development for Professional excellence. Prof. Umesh gave his message to the faculty members. He stressed on the point to unlearn and relearn.
Fr Vincent Saldahna delivered the presidential address. He highlighted that an institution to excel, should the doctors sharpen their thoughts and chisel the visions and do things differently.
The inaugural function was concluded with a vote of Thanks by Dr Shivaprasad, Vice Principal, FMHMC
The first session was engaged by Prof A.P Achar which was about the factors enhancing professional excellence through an interactive game.
The second session was taken up by Mr Girish M, Co-ordinator-Quality Enhancements and Placement Services, Aloysius Institute of Business Management & Information Technology, and Mr Madhukar S.M, Asst. Prof., of MBA Department who enriched the implication of mutual relationship for an effective departmental function.
The third session was engaged by Prof (Major) M. Radhakrishna, M.Com, M.Phil who presented the topic of carving out leaders from doctors. Also, taught the qualities to be possessed by a leader. The programme ended with a thanks note by Dr Srinath Rao.
