ANTENATAL CARE

A group health education was conducted on 28/04/2012 by III year GNM students, Father Muller School of nursing on the topic “ANTENATAL CARE” at Father Muller Medical College hospital in ‘H’ ward. The programme was started at11AM with a prayer song and continued by a skit regarding pregnancy care. Students explained about signs and symptoms of pregnancy, minor disorders and its management, diet during pregnancy, antenatal check ups, importance of immunization etc…. in Kannada as well as in Malayalam. About 50 patients and their bystanders, Mrs Jasmine Sarita Vas, Principal, School of Nursing, Staff of the FMSON and ward incharges of FMMCH attendented the programme and its concluded by distribution of sweets.
