The Institutions’ day cum Graduation ceremony was held at Father Muller Stadium on March 13th 2012. The procession of graduates along with Director, Administrator, Chief Guest & H.O.D’s of all colleges began at 4.45 pm sharp from the Medical College ‘B’ Block.
The welcome speech and report was given by Rev. Fr. Patrick Rodrigues, Director, FMCI. Then the graduation ceremony began and the oath was taken by graduates from all the colleges, including Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College. Around 68 under graduate students and 21 post graduate students graduated from Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College.
The presentation of awards and prizes for meritorious performances were bagged by 14 students and academic prizes from the institutions were bagged by 11 students including post graduate, Dr A.S. Mridul. Dr Krishna Das R. Nambiar was the best outgoing student of this graduating B.H.M.S batch.
The message was then delivered by the chief guest Prof. Shantha Sinha. Later one of the representatives from among the graduates expressed their sentiments. The hon’ble Vice chancellor, Dr K.S. Sriprakash, then, in his address, mentioned about his visits to Homoeopathic Medical College and to other colleges. He also mentioned about the achievements of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College. Later the presidential address was given by Most. Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D’souza, Bishop of Mangalore. The vote of thanks was rendered by Rev. Fr. Denis D’sa, Administrator, FMMC & FMCON.
The Institutional Anthem was recited. The official programme was then followed by the cultural programme and dinner at 7.30 p.m. The Graduation Ceremony concluded at 9.30 p.m. |
