Congratulations -Mr. Narasimman

Mr. Narasimman S., HOD & Course Coordinator, Department of Physiotherapy has received the prestigious C.P. Nair Oration Award presented by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) for his outstanding contribution in academics and research.

The department of physiotherapy had organized a felicitation program in his honour on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, in the conference Hall. The program was presided by Rev. Fr Patrick Rodrigues, Director , FMCI. In his address he said “Lot of opportunities are arising and it is up to one how he grabs it. Mr. Narasimman had grabbed the opportunities which came before him. Through his commitment, dedication and hard work he has achieved success in his life and he has become the inspiration to all the staff and the students in the campus.

Dr B.S.Rai, Chief of Medical Services mentioned the handwork and commitment of Mr. Narasimman and congratulated him for making Father Muller Physiotherapy Department the one of the best under RGUHS.

Addressing to the gathering Mr. Narasimman shared his memories in this institution which helped him to achieve this award. He thanked management, the staff and students for the encouragement and support. He added, it is the interest of the students in the academic and research encouraged him to work hard towards the goal. He shared his dream of making the department as one of the best in the country. He shared the credit with his team.

Rev. Fr. Denis D’Sa, Administrator, FMMC said that nowadays any body can get award, but only few get award on merit and excellence. Mr. Narasimman deserves this award more than anybody else. He added saying Mr. Narasimman is a Leader who knows the way and leads the way and he is carrying the vision of the management to make the department of physiotherapy of FMMC as one of the best in the nation.

There was a small documentary on the achievements of Mr. Narasimman presented by the staff and students of the Physiotherapy department. Family members of Mr. Narasimman, were also present for the program.
