“ACNE TREATMENT WEEK”

Department 0f Dermatology ,Father Muller Medical College , have organized Acne Treatment Week from January 14 to January 21, 2010. The inauguration of the same took place on Thursday, 14^th January 2010 in the Skin O.P.D and it was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Stany Tauro, Administrator, FMMCH.

Acne (commonly called Pimples) is a common problem seen in adolescents. This results in mental stress and depression. It occurs over the face, as well as back, chest, neck and upper arms. It’s also seen in women. It is due to the hormonal changes that occur. It is advisable to undergo investigations to look for diseases of the ovaries.
