The World Alzheimer’s Day was celebrated by the Dept. of Psychiatry on 22^nd Sept 2009 at the Silver Jubilee Hall at 3.00pm. Dr. K. Krishnamurthy, Professor & Head, Dept. of Psychiatry welcomed the gathering and stressed the impact of World Alzheimer’s Day, he also emphasized an early detection of Alzheimer’s Disease. Rev. Fr. Patrick Rodrigues, Director of FMCI, inaugurated the function and suggested that, in the coming years Alzheimer’s day should be celebrated in the community, with the common man getting educated about Alzheimer’s disease
