I am glad to announce that Mr Narasimman S., Associate Professor, Department of Physiotherapy attended the 7^th International Congress entitled  “Physiotherapy: Innovation OR Tradition” at Lebanon organized by The Order of Physiotherapists in Lebanon in collaboration with the WHO, WCPT, FIOPS, The Arab Federation for Physiotherapy and the French-Lebanese Medical Association.  He delivered a lecture on “Physiotherapy Evidence Data Base and Insight” and presented a paper titled “Efficacy of Physiotherapy in Health Disorders: What Cochrane Review Says?” at the Conference.  Mr Narasimman was the only Indian to attend this Congress. On behalf of the Management, I offer my hearty congratulations to him.   

On 1st October 2009 – the National Blood Donation Day, a Mediquiz was held by the Pathology Department of K.M.C., Mangalore to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of HELPLINE.  I  am  glad  to  announce that  the FMMC team  comprising of Ms Likhitha K.G., Ms Aarti Menon and Mr Abhey Wasdev has won 3rd place in this quiz, in which 30 teams had participated.   I offer my hearty Congratulations to the team. May their achievement inspire and challenge our student body to excel in whatever assignments they undertake as students.
