The program was inaugurated at 9.00 am on 18.09.2009 by the chief guest, Dr Arunachalam Kumar, Dean, KSHEMA, Mangalore and was presided over by Rev.Fr.Denis D’Sa,the Administrator, FMMC. He spoke about the influence of media in the minds of the people and how the modern time is fragmented on the basis of the events highlighted by media.

Dr.Arunachalam, Dean of KSHMA, a fine orator and researcher gave an inspiring key note address as how media can be used properly. Students and staff of various institution of FMCI were present.
