FATHER MULLER MEDICAL COLLEGE

Mangalore, 17^th June 2009: A programme was organized by the Department of Pathology- Blood Bank Section of Fr. Muller Medical College Hospital on 17^th June 2009 with regard to ‘World Blood Donors Day’ which was observed on 14^th June worldwide.

Rev Fr Patrick Rodrigues, Director FMCI inaugurated the function by the lighting of the lamp. Other dignitaries included Rev Fr Stany Tauro, Administrator, FMMCH, Dr B Sanjeev Rai, Chief of Medical Services, Dr Jayaprakash Alva, Dean, FMMC and Dr Hilda D’Souza, Blood Bank Officer.

Our regular blood donors and motivators were felicitated for their noble gesture. Mrs. Edith D’Souza shared her experience as a donor and appealed the public to donate blood regularly.
