There are four surgical units having a bed strength of 120.
OPD is spread over a large area with separate facilities for
examination of patients and OPD teaching.
Ward layout
consists of examination room, general wards, isolation rooms,
procedure room, emergency care unit, side laboratory, store,
ward pantry, duty rooms for the doctors and nurses, nursing
station, clinical demonstration room, rooms for the unit teaching
staff and residents.
There is separate departmental library cum seminar hall with
110 books.
There are 11operation theatres.
The department is headed by Professor Dr Divakar Shenoy
and is assisted by qualified dedicated band of staffs.
