The Department is housed in a built up area of 12000 sq. feet.
The Department has demonstration rooms, Clinical pathology,
histo pathology and Hematology laboratories, Departmental Museum,
Library cum seminar hall, separate research lab for the staff
and postgraduate students etc. There are separate rooms for
Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Tutors,
postgraduate students and non-teaching staff. Department is
furnished with equipments and fixtures as per MCI requirement.
Departmental library has 122 books. Departmental museum has
good number of specimens, models and charts.
There is a separate Clinical Laboratory catering to the needs
of the hospital.
A full pledged recognized Blood Bank is functioning in the Hospital.
The department is headed by Professor Dr. Ramesh Naik
and is assisted by qualified dedicated band of staffs.
