There are four General Medicine Units having bed strength of
120. OPD is spread over a large area with separate facilities
for examination of patients and OPD teaching.
Ward layout consists of examination room, general wards, isolation
rooms, procedure room, critical care unit, side laboratory,
store, ward pantry, duty rooms for the doctors and nurses, nursing
station, clinical demonstration room, rooms for the unit teaching
staff and residents.
There is separate departmental library cum seminar hall and
has 130 books.
The department is headed by Professor Dr K S Bhat and
is assisted by qualified dedicated band of staffs.
