The Department is housed in the preclinical block with a built
up area of over 7000 sq.feet. It has Demonstration room, Laboratory,
Departmental Library cum Seminar hall, Research lab etc. Thee
are separate rooms for Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant
Professors, Tutors and non-teaching staff. Department is furnished
with necessary equipments and fixtures as per MCI requirement.
Departmental library has 100 books. There is a separate clinical
Biochemistry laboratory attached to the hospital.
The Department is headed by Dr Ashok Kumar and is assisted
by qualified dedicated band of staffs.
