M.Sc. Hospital Administration:
Students
who have passed any degree course of any recognised university
with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.A minimum of 45% is
sufficient for SC/ST CAndidates.
M.Sc. Psycho-Social Rehabilation:
Student who has passed Bachelor's degree in any one of the
following subjects:
Social Work or psychology or Sociology or Nursing or Home Sciences
or Graduate with Behavioral and Social sciences as one of the
major subjects of study and has secured 50% of aggregate marks
in the final examination excluding marks in languages.
Master in Physiotherapy
Candidates who have passed B.Sc )PT) or B.P.T degree from this
university or any other university in India or abroad recognised
recognized as equivalent by RGUHS with not less than 50% of
marks in aggregate are eligible.
The duration of master of Physiotherapy course shall be extended
over a period of two contnuous years on a full time basis .Any
break in the career, power of extension of the course and the
fixation of the term shall be vested with the university.
English will be the Medium of instruction for the subjects of
study and for the examination of the M.P.T course.
Bachelor of Physiotherapy-
Candidates who have passes Pre-University Examination of Karnataka
Pre University Board with english and physics,chemistry and
Biology.In case of candidates belonging to scheduled caste/sceduled
tribes, the minimum percentage of marks shall be 40 percent
in the qualifying subjects.
A candidate seeking admission to Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy
course,should have completed 17 years of age, as on 31st December
of the year or admission
.
B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology:
A candidate seeking admission to the Bachelor of Science -Medical
Laboratory Technology course shall have passed:
1.The 2 year pre-University examination or equivalent as recognised
by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences with physics,Chemistry
and Biology as principle subjects of study.
or
2.Pre-Degree Course from a recognised University (2 years after
10 years of schooling) with Physics,Chemistry and Biology as
principal subjects of study.
or
3.Any equivalent examination recognised by the Rajiv Gandhi
university of Health Sciences, Bangalore for the above purpose
with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as principal subjects of
study.
or
4.Pre-University Vocational course from a recognized Board with
laboratory technology as Vocational subject.
B.Sc. Radiography-
Candidates for admission to the Bachelor of Sciences-Radiography
(Radio-Diagnosis/Radio Therapy) shall have passed :
1. The two year pre-university course examination or equivalent
examination of any other approved Board or any equivalent examination
recognised by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, with
Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics/Physics, Chemistry and Biology
as optional subjects and shall have secured a minimum of 40%
marks in optional subjects.In case of SC/ST/CAT-1 Students,
the minimum percentage of marks required is 35 in optional subjects.In
addition candidate should have passed English as one of the
language.
or
2.Pre-University in vocational course from a recognised board
with Radiology/Radiography.
Note:
Students from outside Karnataka or from outside the country
should obtain Eligibility Certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University
of Health Sciences , for the course they wish to join.
Such of the candidate who have studied and passed Physics, Chemistry
and Biology shall study and pass introductory Mathematics as
subsidiary subject during first year Radiography course and
such of the candidates who have studied and passed physics,
Chemistry and Mathematics shall study and pass introductory
Biology as subsidiary subject during 1st year Radiography course
