On the occasion of World Red Cross day, FMMCH, wing of world red cross society organised a poster making competition on 8th may 2013. The theme of the competition was “Disaster Management”. The competition was held for BHMS, MBBS, BPT, Nursing, and MLT students of FMCI. 16 of our NSS student volunteers participated in the competition and bagged 1st and 2nd Prize.

Kynthiew Balang Mukhim, Neena Saleem, Veena Madhusoodanan of FMHMC represented RGUHS in the South zone Inter University Handball Camp Tournament held at Krishnadevaraya College of Dental Sciences, Bangalore from 21-25th March 2013 followed by tournament at Periyar University Salem, Tamilnadu from 27-31st March 2013.
A team of 39 students participated in Aakriti '13', A Cultural & Literary Fest" which was organised by Canara Engineering College, Benjanapadavu, Mangalore on 22nd and 23rd february.

 Our college athletic team won 4 gold, 4 silver, 6 bronze medals at the RGUHS 14th Annual Intercollegiate athletic championship 2012-2013 held at College of Dental Sciences, Davanagere from 24th-26th November bringing glory to the institution.
Hand ball Women’s team won the runner up trophy in RGUHS Single zone handball tournament conducted by Krishna Devaraya College of Dental Science, Bangalore on 24th & 25th September 2012
Ms. Varsha Shetty, performed at a 12-hour Yakshagana Prasanga at Townhall in Mangalore on 16th of July 2012. The kunita by her was on par with professional Yakshagana artistes.
The following students of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College participated in RGUHS Mysore Zonal Chess Tournament conducted at A.J. Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore on 01.10.2008 and have won the third place.
