FRESHERS' DAY 2011
The Freshers' day was celebrated on 17th September, 2011 at 2.30pm. The name given for the program is ``BONVENON``. There was a welcome note given by Ms.Vyshnavi, I BHMS(Sr) student. The freshers were welcomed into the hall followed by a prayer song. This was followed by lighting the lamp. The Principal, Dr.Srinath Rao, gave mementos to 25 students which was followed by his speech.Then the Administrator, Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash D' Souza, gave mementos to the next 25 students and gave his message. He urged the students to concentrate not only on academics but also in extra curricular activities. This was followed by the Presidential address by our Director, Rev. Fr Patrick Rodrigues. He stressed that talents are god given gifts and we must make use of them to keep ourselves and others happy. rev. Fr Peter Noronha, Former Director FMCI and Fr Rudolph D' Sa were the guests of Honour. Dr. Rita Chakraborty the class coordinator of the freshers was the chief organiser of the programme.
The name given for the batch was ''AMIGOS.'' The MC part was taken over by Freshers Ms. Sneha, Ms.Ayesha and Ms.Bismi. Freshers programme started with prayer followed by a traditional welcome dance. It was then followed by a song in Kannada and a dance. The talents in the music were demonstrated by 2 students, followed by a dance and fashion show. Mr.jeremy and Ms.Keerthana were the nexts pair of MCs for the rest of the events. A beautiful mime was performed by followed by a group song and dance. Every programme was well planned and went on systematically. Programme concluded at 4.30 P.M |
