The inauguration of ‘Health Awareness & Treatment Programme for Women’, was held on 8th March, 2012 at 9.30 am at Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital. The camp was conducted to make the occasion of ‘International Women’s Day’.

Dr Sujaya Prabhakar, M.B.B.S, D.G.O., from Nethaji .A. Ellappa Memorial Hospital, Thokkottu was the Chief Guest. The programme began with a prayer song by the interns.



The welcome address was given by Principal, FMHMC, Dr Srinath Rao. This was followed by lightening of the lamp by the dignitaries on the dais. The Chie Guest highlighted the awareness of Women's Health in Society. The Administrator, Rev. Fr. Wilfred Prakash D’Souza, then presented a memento to the Chief Guest and rendered his valuable message on the occasion. He appreciated the role played by women in the society.



The vote of thanks was given by Dr Vilma D’souza, H.O.D Dept. of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Dr Shivaprasad K., Vice Principal, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, was also present among the dignitaries.
The programme concluded with the Institutional Anthem. Later an awareness talk on ‘Gynaecological Disorders’ was given by students of III B.H.M.S. and the doubts were clarified by Dr Vilma D’souza. The camp was attended by 58 patients. Dr Vasumati, post-graduate, was the M.C. for the inaugural function.
