On the occasion of Women’s Day, the OBG & Paediatric Units of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, in collaboration with Central Council For Research in Homoeopathy and Dept. of AYUSH, Govt. of India, has organized a Mother & Child Health Care Programme on the 8th March 2011 at the Hospital Out Patient Department, Deralakatte. Mrs Hilda Pinto, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Microbiology, Father Muller Medical College Hospital inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp, along with other dignitaries. Dr Sunny Mathew, Medical Superintendent, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College Hospital, introduced the Chief Guest and welcomed the gathering. Mrs Hilda Pinto, the Chief Guest addressed the gathering by highlighting the Women’s Role in society. Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash D’Souza, Administrator, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital in his message appreciated the role played by the women in the society. Dr Vilma D’Souza, HOD – Dept. of OBG delivered vote of thanks. Dr Roshan Pinto, AYUSH Programme Co-ordinator, and Dr Jyoshna Shivaprasad, HOD – Dept. of Paediatrics were the other dignitaries present on the Dias.
After the inaugural programmes, free health check up was held for women and children.
